AWS Cloud Map is a cloud resource discovery service. Using AWS Cloud Map, you can define custom names for your application resources, such as Amazon ECS tasks, Amazon EC2 instances, Amazon S3 buckets, Amazon DynamoDB tables, Amazon SQS queues, or any other cloud resource. Your application can then use the AWS SDK or authenticated API queries to discover the location and metadata of cloud resources associated with these custom names. AWS Cloud Map is a highly available, managed service with rapid change propagation.

For the full list of regions where AWS Cloud Map is available, see the AWS Region Table. Please visit our product page to learn more about AWS Cloud Map.
